Dear Parents/Guardians,

With just a week break after the culmination of the 2020/21 academic calendar, a new session began on Monday 20th September 2021 and what a thrill it is seeing you all return back to us for another school year.

It’s been a great source of joy nurturing your children as they grow towards academic excellence and we wish to reiterate our commitment to always provide the very best education for your child’s/children’s optimum mental, moral, social and emotional development. Attached is the proposed academic calendar for the term. Please take time to study it. To find it, please click this blue text.

Also take note of the following:

PTF: Our interactive forum for this term has been scheduled for Thursday, 14th October 2021. Please make every effort to be present or connect via zoom as important decisions related to your child’s welfare would be discussed. Time: 12 noon.

TEXTBOOKS: To ensure your children actively participate in lessons, we urge that parents make prompt payments for textbooks, writing materials and other educational resources.

EDUCATION: All parents/guardians are encouraged to consistently supervise their children’s homework books and fill the feedback column in the homework record book to ensure regular correspondence between parents and teachers. Please inform the headteacher immediately if proper communication is not maintained. Also, note that a summary of this term’s curriculum

is attached to the cover page of the communication book to make it easier for you to assist and evaluate your children at home.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: Extra-curricular activities for this term commences this week. Please notify the headteacher of your desired club if you’ve not already done so. Parents are also reminded to provide their children/wards with the appropriate attire for their respective club activities. NOTE: Payments for all extra-curricular activities should be made before October 31st to ensure club instructors are promptly paid.

DIET: Precious Moments Int’l Academy strongly encourages healthy eating habits as this promotes active learning. Parents are therefore reminded to ensure their children come to school with fruits on Tuesdays/Thursdays (fruit-eating days) to enable their children to grow strong physically and mentally.

However, we urge all who are yet to do so to make substantial payments as soon as possible before we embark on our fees drive to avoid disruption of studies.
